Brookside Boys Soccer Best Fairview 2-0
On 8/27 the Brookside boys soccer team defeated Fairview by the score of 2-0.  Senior Kenny Pierson had 6 saves in his second shutout of the season.  Brookside goals were scored by Freshman Devin Housedell (3rd of season) and Senior Cameron Drew (2nd of season). Owen Rozanc and Austin White contributed with an assist a piece. Brookside improves to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference. 
Lady Cards Improve to 2-1 on Season
The Brookside Lady Cardinals defeated Brooklyn in a well fought match that went 4 sets. Coach Bruck commented, " We started off a little shaky, but managed to pull together for our first conference win. Tyller Holley and Mary Williams had exceptional matches again tonight. Tyller put up 18 kills, 2 blocks, and 3 aces. Mary put up 8 kills, 2 digs, and 2 good serve receptions. My libero, Lisa Campo, lead the team in digs with 14, and my setter Natalee Halkiadakis lead the team in assists with 33 for the night. Our next match is this Thursday (8/28) against Clearview at home." 
Lady Cards Soccer Falls to Cloverleaf
On 8/21 The Brookside Girls soccer team dropped their second consecutive game by falling to Cloverleaf 5-2.  Up 1-0 at the half the Lady Cards allowed 5 goals in the second half.  Brookside will look to bounce back on Saturday vs. Normandy at Byers Field.
