College Board Opportunity Scholarships

The SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9 are a suite of assessments that work together to provide consistent feedback for all students on where they excel and where they need to improve.  The tests help clear a path to college by connecting students to free, personalized practice , scholarships, and college application fee waivers.  Scores from the SAT Suite of Assessments also indicate which Advanced Placement courses are a good match for students.
And, the College Board now rewards students for the effort they put in on their journey to college.  The College Board Opportunity Scholarships is a new program that guides students through the college planning process and offers them a chance to earn scholarships for each action they complete, including practicing for the SAT and building a college list.  Completing each step earns them a chance for a scholarship; completing all six actions earns them a chance to win $40,000 for their college education.
