| Question of the Week | What term is used to describe an animal that is active only at night?
Last week's answer: | | End of the Quarter | The second quarter ends on January 23rd. | | Math Test | Our next math test will be on Friday, January 9th. It will cover adding and subtracting fractions. | | Check Your Child's Grade | You should have received information in the mail on how to check your child's grades any time you like using the new Pinnacle program. If you did not receive this information, please contact the board office. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 29th, at 7:00 pm, at Brookside regarding how to use the Pinnacle program for any parents who would like to attend. | | Extra Credit | Each week I will post a Question of the Week on my website. Your child can earn extra credit by correctly answering the question. Answers are to be submitted in writing, either on paper or by email. Answers must be in a complete sentence. All answers must be submitted by 2:50 Friday afternoon. | | Math and Social Studies Homework | Actual copies of my homework assignments are available under the Classroom Documents section to the right. If you are absent, lose an assignment, or forget it somewhere, you can now click on the assignment and print it out on your home computer. If you do not have a working printer, you can do the homework on notebook paper. | | Redo's | If your child receives a "D" or an "F" on an assignment, they can redo the assignment for higher credit. They need to redo the problems they got wrong on another sheet of paper, staple the redo to the original assignment, and turn it in the next day. |
