Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at BIS! My name is Sierra Swanson and I am the new Assistant Principal at Brookside Intermediate School. I am excited about the opportunity to start nmy first year with the Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City Schools. This is my 16th year in education, as I spent the last 15 years in the classroom. Most of my expereince was as a 4th grade teacher. 

 

My role is to support the principal, the faculty, and staff in promoting a positive learning environment for all students at BIS. As the assistant principal, I oversee student behaviors and attendance, including our PBIS program. I am excited to get to know and work with the families and teachers of BIS to provide excellent academic, extracurricular and social services to our students.
