Important Vaccination Information for 6th Grade Students
Attention parents of 6th-grade students. Lorain County Public Health reminds you that before students can enter 7th grade, they must receive one dose of the Tdap vaccine and one dose of the meningitis vaccine. Vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks in addition to COVID-19 illness would overburden our healthcare system and put your child at risk. These vaccines are required when attending school. Contact your medical provider or make an appointment at Lorain County Public Health – call 440-284-3206.
Important Vaccination Information for 12th Grade Students
Attention parents of 11th-grade students. Lorain County Public Health reminds you that before students can enter 12th grade they must have received two doses of the meningitis vaccine by age 16 (if the first dose was given on or after the 16th birthday only one dose is required). Vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks in addition to COVID-19 illness would overburden our healthcare system and put your child at risk. This vaccine is required when attending school.
