The goal of the Special Education Department is to ensure that all children with disabilities have access to a free and appropriate public education (FAPE).  To receive services, a student must be identified as having a disability by an educational team.  The Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City School District is continuing the effort to identify, locate, and evaluate any child with a suspected disability between the ages of 3-21.  If you are aware of a child residing within the Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City School District who may have a disability and is not receiving special education services, please contact Susan Dunkle at (440)-949-4210 or sdunkle@sheffieldschools.org.
